A good synopsis . . .
George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2 years. The first six the economy was fine.
A little over one year ago:

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;

2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;

3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.

4) The DOW JONES hit a record high--14,000 +

5) American's were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations overseas, living large!

But American's wanted 'CHANGE'! So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress and yes--we got 'CHANGE' all right. In the PAST YEAR:

1) Consumer confidence has plummeted;

2) Gasoline is now over $4 a gallon & climbing!;

3) Unemployment is up to 5.5% (a 10% increase);

4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS and prices still dropping;

5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.

6) As I write, THE DOW is probing another low~~

$2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM THEIR STOCKS, BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS!

YES, IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE...AND WE SURE GOT IT! ...

REMEMBER THE PRESIDENT HAS NO CONTROL OVER ANY OF THESE ISSUES, ONLY CONGRESS.

AND WHAT HAS CONGRESS DONE IN THE LAST TWO YEARS? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

NOW THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT CLAIMS HE IS GOING TO REALLY GIVE US CHANGE ALONG WITH A DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS!!!!

JUST HOW MUCH MORE 'CHANGE' DO YOU THINK YOU CAN STAND?

Awesome post, truth cuts to the bone don't it ? These are facts that the Barry supporters would put aside. The best PROMISER and best SALESMAN, shouldn't get the job on sales pitch alone. He's slick, but insidiously self serving. Hopefully enough voters will figure this out.

the best part is he didn't even put in the little fact finding part of that email i fot the same one with alot more .......

ARE WE STUPID OR WHAT?

It makes you wonder.......

This email comes in three parts....Make sure you read all three parts!

Part 1
Remember the election in 2006?

Thought you might like to read the following:

A little over one year ago:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.
Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:
1) Consumer confidence plummet;
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $4.10 a gallon;
3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);
4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;
6) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
7) Food prices skyrocketing over 30% in 1 year. America voted for change in 2006, and we got it!

Remember, it is Congress that makes the laws and spends our money - not the President. He has to work with what's handed to him.
Part 2
Taxes...Whether Democrat or a Republican you will find these statistics enlightening and amazing. http://www.taxfoundation.org/publications/show/151.HTML

Taxes under CLINTON- 1999 Taxes under BUSH- 2008
Single earning: Single earning:
30K - taxed- $ 8,400 30K - taxed $4,500

Barack Obama promises to return to the higher tax rates if elected. It is amazing how many people who fall into the categories above think Bush is screwing them and Bill Clinton was the greatest President ever.

If elected, Barack Obama has already promised that he will repeal the Bush tax cuts, and amazingly, a good portion of the people who fall into the categories above can't wait for it to happen.
PART 3

I keep scratching my head trying to figure out why so many Americans want change. We have been living in the most prosperous times of US history. We only began to see a decline in this prosperity when the democrats took over the house. We were even prosperous after 9-11. I’m too stupid to get it.

If they want change so bad the just give them a sledge hammer and have them smash themselves in the head everytime it comes to mind.........just maybe it will CHANGE their outlook....but I doubt it those stupid dipsh!tz !

Thanks for the help Sandrail. I don't claim to be a political master mind, just a small business owner that laid off his last two employees this week. Anyone that understands business at all knows that this problem is not going to be fixed by more government regulation. We all need to regulate each other and take responsibility for our actions. Unfortunately many people in this country have bought into the idea that home ownership and 80k a year jobs are a god given right. Frankly I'm sick of the entitlement attitude that the Democratic Party and that used car salesman Barrack Obama is trying to sell the American people. Help yourself people and quit waiting for BIG GOVERNMENT to save you!!!!!!!! Thank god the red dots are gone, I'd be sunk.

and
India wasn't buying fertilizer and China wasn't soaking up every piece of scrap iron.

MHA

You still owe me an explaination as to how I'll be better off under Mr. Obama. I don't mean to call you out, but this constant sniping with this "yah, but......." shizzle is getting old. Answer my f'ing question. I don't need to repost the info (from the irs tax table) this post has it too.

http://snowest.com/forum/showthread.php?t=95241&page=2

in case you forgot.

The sad part is, most americans are too lazy to look up the information and the media already has the dems in complete control and Obama anointed as supreme leader of the known universe.

Gonna be the devils advocate here, looking at the tax charts you have posted

Taxes under CLINTON- 1999 Taxes under BUSH- 2008
Single earning: Single earning:

125K - taxed $ 38,750 &nb sp; 125K - taxed $ 31,250

Looks like everybody paid less taxes under Bush and now the party has come to an abrupt end, I beleive we have spent alot more than we have taken in the last 8 years around 4 trillion dollars and the world who financed the "big Party" wants their money back.

I am 100% against tax increases but we either have to cut spending or raise taxes. I think with Obama we are going to get increased spending and increased taxes, I think Mcain will just cut the spending I hope.

Bingo

To bad most Americans don't understand that the problem is not tax reform it is spending reform. Anyone who thinks increasing the tax burden on one group over the other is going to solve the problem is a moron. Increase taxes on business and they will have to pass it on to the consumer, nothing accomplished towards reform. Any clown who can hear the rhetoric of the democratic candidates and expect change for the good has no reason, logic or common sense. Until we force the governments, local, state and federal to live within their means there will be no relief and the toll on the american taxpayer will only increase. Every time taxes have been cut, Kennedy, Reagan and Busch the income to the federal government has increased, when taxes have been increased the income to the federal government has decreased. DUUHHHH. Learn from history, there is nothing more rediculous the sending the same liberal socialist a***holes back to Washington and expecting a different result. Swampy!!!:mad::mad:
