Change in RPM From 44 To 44-40 helix

I have been running the stock 44 helix in my 07 151. I switched to oversized rollers in the primary this year. The sled runs well accelerates hard and holds its revs on the hill, they do drop somewhat when it gets real tough. Is there a noticable difference in switching to the the 44-40 helix- enough to justify the change?

I would try swappin out a buddies clutch that has a 159 on it, They usually came with a 44/42 helix

Or dial your clickers up, what # are you on now?

Is the 44-42 a progressive or multi angle/ If progressive you would spend most of the time in the 43 degree angle, not alot of change.

Changing clickers will affect peak revs but will have minimal change in backshifting characteristics. My peak revs are good for the most part the sled just feels a bit doggy on the hills going by feel.

I'm run clicker 4 usually.
