Thought you guys might like to see this. We have been trimming tracks for several years now but there are firsts for everything. With the X3.2 being just released, we already had a customer request one trimmed down to 12.25" width. Available in 153", 156", 162" and 174" lengths. A 153x12.5x3.2 weighs 44lbs.

That would be a powder hound track , the majority of one skis need a track that besides being able to get on top has a lug that also gives some side bite to keep from washing out .

Center of balance is between the legs and wash outs are going to become more of a problem with a taller straight lugged track that works great for sleds .

The first picture is one of your tracks that I made a template and curved the lugs with and also a little help from a guy that makes plates to cover the open windows . It's a 153 and before I covered the duel windows it trenched from a stand still as bad as a short track without center windows . The lug pattern does help a little for going down a steep bank and turning around on it to go back up or across but comes up a little short for being able to grip and rip .

The second is the stock and if they made this in a 153 I'd be running it because it's as tough as nails , they add some kind of fiber to it . Screws are a must , this set up will run circles around the other track beating down a trail or dodging trees on a side hill dropping into holes sled can only dream of , again it's a shame it does not come longer ?

Notice how the lugs curve to the outside , makes to much sense as far as a one ski sees it :face-icon-small-hap
