do i need a different chaincase chain if re-gearing from a 22 tooth upper to at 20 tooth and a 39 tooth lower to a 41?

its got a 76p chain currently... seems to me i'd need a 74???
Nope, that chain should work fine! You are dropping 2 teeth on top and adding 2 on the bottom so it should be a wash for chain length.
