Chaincase Protectors

A couple of guys have asked me for chaincase protectors since I posted those pics so I made up a small batch. I welded up 6 today, 1 is sold already. I have not polished these ones and would rather not as I hate doing that job. LOL. I will include the necessary stainless bolts. The guard in the pics has a rubber liner that I made but I don't have any more of that material and I don't even know where it came from so I'm going to try and find a substitute. I made the protectors based on my chaincase which I assume is typical but when you look at the chaincase cover there are some waves probably from the welding which may make each cover very slightly different. What I'm saying here is that there may be some small spaces between the guard and the chaincase cover. The guards are made out of 3/16" 5052 T6. Each guard weighs exactly 0.52 lb so IMO there is no real benefit to using any lighter material.

I kept track of my time, materials and supplies and to make it even close to worth while I need to get $58 including shipping anywhere in the western US or Canada. I will post up some pics of the new guards tommorow when they are totally done.

If you are interested in a protector shoot me a PM first come first served.

Thx M5

I will take one if we can use PayPal

Paypal is fine, I PM'ed you.

Here some pics of the actual guards, I shined them up a bit but I wouldn't call them polished. If you want a mirror finish you will need to buff the guard a bit more.

3 are sold and I have 3 left.

Just bringing this back to the top. I have 2 more of these if anyone is interested. My buddy had a massive impact and his guard that I made saved his chaincase cover, a bunch of other stuff got destroyed but the chaincase cover lived. I wish I had taken pics.

phatties motor sports has had chain case cover out for two years thay are made out of 6061 and we sell them for 50.00 we all so have monster dolly and other snow bike accessories

chain case protection $25

For the low low price of $25, way less than the competition. I will ride everywhere you want to go right in front of you poaching all the good snow but also hitting all the hidden rocks so your chaincase will not be damaged. I've been providing this service to my riding buddies for years, so I think that my experience puts the competition to shame. PM me or just kick me in the nuts when you see me in person. Thanks, AHole Industries, LLC.
