Chaincase Help

My little brother is in need of a stock chaincase for a 2004 Edge Pro X 700. Anyone have any ideas where to find one? They have been discontinued.

They can't just be discontinued. It would have to have a part that supersedes it for that year. Otherwise i would try online. A number of salvage yards to call. Most salvage or part outs end up on Ebay. Start there.

There was an add on KSL, some guy had a bunch of chain cases for different years and models.

I'm sure I have a few kicking around in the garage yet if your still looking for one. What all are you needing? Case, cover, tensioner, etc.

That was my thought to, but tri-city is telling me that they did discontinue them and there is no supersede. Surprised me too. I have been exploring the web and salvage yards but striking out. I'll keep searching.

Thanks so much for this info. for that price, is that the whole case or is that the case minus the cover and tensioner.

And thats absolutely for the Pro x chassis?

That is for the case only. You will need bearings, seals, etc. The parts fiche in our system has a misprint in the part number but it is right on the dealer site. It fit's 6,7,8 prox 2004.Thanks.
