chaincase help

I have a 03 summit 800 with reverse, Was wondering what chaincases will work? or are they all the same on the revs.does not look like it.

far as ii know the 03 had its own set up. cause they dont fit mine

I would mabye check the numbers on the old zx chassis. if i remember right, the 03 rev still used the zx style.

Actually no, it was the opposite. The '03 Rev was the only year they had a short chaincase. In '04 they went back to the longer ZX style chaincase like the one used in the '03 Summit that the OP is asking about. Whatever you do, stay away from the '03 Rev chaincases!

The rev will not work for it. You need 03 or lower ZX only.

Yup! You've got the ZX model right? In 03 skidoo launched 2 styles. The earlier model was on the ZX chassis and later in the year you could buy the new Rev style although it was still an 03. The chaincases between those two models is not interchangable. Hope that helps. I had the ZX model and one of my favorite sleds for sure!!

no i have the 03 in a half summit 800 the rev style but they say the zx style will work for the summits.
