Chain tension?

Hi
I have just had a major service of my 07D7RMK and took the chain and sprockets out of the chain case to get this cleaned up. But during assembly I started to think: I tensioned the chain to the point where I still had a little movement on"the long side"of the chain, but how much is too much? Don't want to rip the chain because it's to tight or to loose so it'll start slapping around in there...

Grab the driven clutch, rotate it by hand counter clockwise to take the play out of the chain, run the tensioner in by hand so it is hand tight. Tighten the jam nut.

With the cover off, adjust it to where the chain ALMOST touches the back side of the chain-case when pushing on it
