How should I adjust my chain tension on my 09 Dragon? Also what is everyone running in there gear cases for lube?

Thanks!!!

I go as tight as I can by hand, then back it off 1/4 turn and tighten the nut. For lube I use the polaris stuff...

royal purple max atf, hand tighten chain, back off 1/4 as stated and tighten down the lock nut

I use Amsoil chaincase oil. I wouldn't recommend motor oil. Sure it is better than nothing but use some sort of gear fluid. Amsoil is like $4.60 a bottle, so I figured why not. It doesn't even take an entire bottle.

its no different then a timing chain

It certainly is different. Timing chain is operating valves and a cam, right?

Chain case is litterally driving the entire sled, gears, etc. All the weight of the sled and rider are putting stress on the chain case chain. Timing chain doesn't have near that much stress.
