I did that too with an old spring block from a sled torsion spring. What did you use? A cam chain tensioner from something big would probably be the bomb.
Machined a piece of UHMW so it slides on the rollers not the links
Did the same on my Riot and we did an ARO. Less vibration and noise.
Nice one. That seems like something somebody should mass produce and sell.
