cfi flat spot- 2006 700 rmk -

just did the top end after it demolished the piston on the mag side
tried it out today and there seems to be a flat, or bog from about 4800 to 5500 or so rpms. any ideas
wot runs well and under 4800 runs well
could have been the same problem that killed it the first time
my guess is the tps, but havent checked it yet or injectors issues

start with your TPS first..

set it, new TPS harness, and also check it with an analog meter to verify its good..

then go from there...and report back

alright here is my redneck diagnosis

took it out in the back yard on a stand (2x6 cut to hold the track off the ground), ran it on the mag side with the plug boot pulled off-ran ok for being on one cylinder, ran it on the pto side and around where i was having problems i got a small bog and a backfire when i let off.
so i think it is an injector because when i rebuilt it i swaped sides on the injectors so the mag pair went in the pto side, the mag side was the problem the first time now it seems to be the pto side.
seeing how those are the mag side injectors, i will pull the motor and send in the injectors for a rebuild to the website above.
ill let you know what the results are.
thanks all

got them back today,
most were close , one (upper pto ) tested low flow and out of spec.
as soon as i get a new one ill post again. hopefully with a running engine

witchhunter does an A++ job

super quick turn around even sent me an email stating that on of the injectors didn't test to spec and that even after the cleaning they weren't going to chagre me for it. where do you get that these days?
