CFI Exhaust on Big Block Engine

I am building a project sled out of a 2008 RMK Dragon 155 which had a 700 CFI in it. The 700 CFI engine went down this spring due to a piston failure. I am now looking to install a 700 Big Block with 220 cylinder in it in place of the 700 CFI. My question is I was wondering if anyone has any experience in running a CFI pipe on an older carbed big block? I know SLP sells a pipe set-up for a 800 VES in a IQ chassis. However I wanted to check around for what others have used first before just going and purchasing a new pipe set-up. Any input will be greatly appreciated! THANKS!

It is possible to use the cfi pipe with some mode. I put a 99 700 in my 08 chassis and I had cpi out of Morgan ut build me a pipe that matched up to my hps can and it works great

Thanks for the info on your BB/IQ swap and what you choose to run for exhaust! I am looking at all options and just figured I would see what everyone is choosing to run when doing the BB/IQ swap. I have a HPS can and stock pipe that I ran when the 700 CFI engine went down due to a piston skirt letting loose. I also have a crispy new SLP pipe and can for a 700 CFI sitting on the shelf that was going to go on my 700 Dragon RMK but that was right before the engine failed. I am debating on which options would work best for exhaust. I have narrowed it down to either of the following:

1: Run the stock 700 pipe and HPS can
2: Run the SLP 700 CFI set-up
3: Sell the SLP set-up and buy a CPI pipe and use the 700 CFI HPS can
4: Sell both of the stock pipe, HPS can and SLP 700 CFI set-up and buy SLP's 800 VES pipe set-up for the IQ chassis.
5: Look for other options

Any recommendations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! THANKS!
