CFI 4 injector question

When I was changing my throttle body boots on my sled I took the top injectors loose. Well I am not sure if i got them all the way back in. So I was wondering if anyone could tell me how far they need to go in. Like does the black plastic of the injector need be tight to the injector hole. I can see what appears to be an aluminium sleeve in front of it and I can't seem to get that to go in all the way. The sled is 2008 700 RMK.

It need to go all the way in. Wiggle it back an fourth until it pops in. U can tell when u bolt the fuel rail back on if u got it rigbt or not

It helps to use Vaseline on the O-ring... Any other type of lubricant will screw up the o-ring on the injector.

What do you mean I will be able to tell? Like the rail won't be all the way up tight to the case? The bracket is tight to the case and I can still see about half of that little sleeve.
