Center driver needed??

Is the center driver needed on the PRO/Assault? What does it even do if anything??? dont mean to sound stupid, but somebody fill me in please??

I've seen a few people remove them. I believe the only purpose they serve is to further minimize the chance of ratcheting. They are prone to becoming useless balls of ice though.

True. I do believe it only comes on the Pro and Assault models. Really a worthless thing, keep the track properly tensioned close to Poo specs and you'll be fine. Now if adding big power or you feel you must have an extrovert set up then pull the d-shaft and have Avids installed.

My 2012 RMK 155 has the center driver I checked it out when I installed the adjustable limiter strap.
