Cell phone ?

Anyone using the Straight talk wireless service and can tell me the good along with the bad? (coverage, quality, etc.) Need to change out phone and looking at Straight talk as a possibility. The only other choices I have are either Verizon or AT&T.
Again, info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

My whole family uses it because of how cheap it is. About $48 a month per smartphone. Straight talk uses Verizon towers where I live so the service is similar to Verizon, but I don't think its as good. Also can only get 3G with ST so the internet is slower. For me it works good, just not the fastest internet out in the country. I will say that their customer service is a PIA! I have automatic payment set up with them and they have tried cancelling my payment on my card before and then tried to change my phone number, but I eventually got someone on the phone that could fix it for me. I have an Iphone 5 which is a ST phone, but you can use AT&T iphones and put a different sim card in them and get them to work on ST. I personally don't use that much 3G data because I am at home on the internet when im on my phone most of the time. ALSO their unlimited data is not unlimited. They used to have a 2GB max and after that they would slow your data speeds down so much that it took forever to load something on the internet. They just upped the data limit to 3GB because I got a text about 3 months ago. Just remember if you plan to use a bunch of data and go over their limit your data will be super slow. I found that 2GB was enough for me during most months and haven't gone over 3GB yet.

Ive been using it for about 2 years and will continue to until I make more money or want faster data. You can order ST phones through Wal-Mart and buy a cheap insurance plan for your phone. Something like $30 for 2 years of no question insurance.

4 phones in our family and 3 are on net10 and one is on straight talk. We were all on att paying way too much money each month. No complaints with net10 or straight talk. We didn't notice any service or quality in coverage difference. All phones are on 4g network. $40 a month for unlimited when signed up with autopay doesn't get any better than that.
