Cell phone power supply? ciggarette lighter output? search function is useless.

first of all what the heck drives the search function? I typed both "cell phone power supply" and "ciggarette lighter" and it found a HUGE amount of posts that had nothing to do with those two things. they shouldn't have even had those keywords in them! search is worthless on this site...


second: does an 04 Rev pull start (non electric start) have enough *reliable* 12v power to run a cell phone charger?


the two things I'm worried about is that either the system can't handle it or the voltage variance would cause issues with either the charger or the cell phone. anyone done this?

You only have an AC system on your sled. You will need a way to convert AC current to DC current to charge your phone. Here is a link to show you the type of part you will need.

is there a guide for this? i've inspected the wiring diagrams quite thoroughly and I'm looking for some confirmation of where I should be hooking this up.

I haven't checked anything for myself, and theres some incorrect terms in there (confusion on the difference between voltage and current) and I'm concerned about how much current is available from these wires.
