Cell phone battery dyeing? Tip!

I found that if you switch your phone to "airplane mode" it will stop searching for a signal and you can leave it on and take pictures with it.

This was only meant to be a helpful tip for fellow Polaris riders. I like to carry my cell phone with me but by the end of the day it would be dead along with other riders phones. Somehow they like to turn themselves on while out riding.

I guess I deserve a smackdown for putting this in the wrong place.

Redink was just sharing some info he discovered about cell phones, alot of people might have known this already but some may not. I like to carry my cell phone with me while riding to take pics so I can send them to my buddies when I get back to show them what they missed and using airplane mode saves the battery big time. Yes this thread should have probably been posted in the general area instead of the polaris section but that doesn't mean its a worthless thread and guys need to be d$cks about it.

It had the making of a bogus thread. A guys shows up with a couple posts and creates a new post with something about cell phones that most people already know about. And...it's in the Polaris Pro section. Now why do you think we are being d$cks about it?

It should be in the general section. Post it there and let's see what response comes out of it.

So...they finally put a tower up so you boy's in Minnesota have cell phone coverage? What is this world coming to...

So people with pro's don't have cell phones?

This is all that needed to be said, no reason to d$cks

The only person I was making fun of is Mountainhorses over zealous romping of the forum. Redinks post is perfectly fine in my opinion. :face-icon-small-coo
