Cell Coverage in the Bighorns

Who has the best cell coverage in the Bighorns, if any? Specifically at Bear Lodge. Thanks.

I dont think you will find any cell coverage at Bear Lodge or for the most part anywhere in the mountians of Wyoming. Yes you can find spotty coverage. The cell companies seem to focus the towers near communites and highways.

x2 there isnt any coverage at bear lodge, i have come across a few spots where you can get a bar of service if your lucky. But if you want cell coverage at bear lodge the provider to have would definetly be onstar, call from anywhere

try cell phone hill between bear & arrowhead.
otherwise buking mule falls.

I was able to use my T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve with WiFi built in at all of those places like Bear Lodge Resort, Arrowhead, Ranger Creek Ranch, Snowshoe and Passage Resort (now known as Elk View Inn). You only need to connect to their WiFi network. It's free.

I have made a call on Verizon from Hunt Mt. Not much signal but it worked.

You can call from the hill just west of the Lovell side parking lot also. My phone had signal but just won't go through on hunt mt when we were up elk hunting. We just take the laptop up and use the wifi at bear to get ahold of people if needed.
