CE 2.5" 3" Pitch 9175m on 2012 Pro

Pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I ordered this track (CE 2.5" 3" pitch) with 8 tooth avid drivers.... do I require the avid extended chaincase to do this?

If I went with 7 tooth drivers I would just need to have the chaincase modified? Which may be worse timing wise for me......

What are my other options, sadly I am on a time constraint as I want to get out this coming weekend.

From the measurements I have taken, yes you would need the avid chaincase.

If it were me, I would try to cancel the order and order an X-3 and 7 tooth drivers. The chaincase mod isn't a big deal as long as you have someone that is good at welding aluminum.

Little off topic but when you get the track can you weigh both your stock track and the Challenger back to back on same scale? Curious what the weight difference is.

I read the reviews and they seemed conflicting on the 3". Also the track has probably already arrived. The sled is running an hm turbo so I was trying to avoid going 7 tooth. But I could go 7 tooth and chaincase mod, but might just be better to get the avid case....
