Any and all help is appreciated, I swapped out my Stator last year after one of the ignition coils went- The new one was a solder type- All worked well for a year. 2 days ago lost all lights and gauge- sled went into limp mode- Took it apart and were the wire and the stator are soldered on the yellow lighting coil tip all the solder had melted off. Went through the wiring harness and known rub spots and did not find any bare wires or shorts. (Still maybe* one in a hidden casing or something but I am doubting it). So put it all back together fired it up and the CCU light was flashing along with the little wrench- No noticeable pattern just a long continuous flash. Shut it off, started it again and all the lights and icons on the gauge lit at the same time. Shut it off and there was no power to headlights or gauges anymore. Took it apart again and sure enough the yellow lighting coil wire solder was melted off.
Put an ohm meter on the yellows and they are within spec so the stator is fine. Does it sound like a Funked CCU? I would do a voltage test on it but it wont keep power without melting the yellow wire solder off long enough.
Thoughts? I am stumped/
