Caves and Pit wanted in Franklin Basin, Idaho

I am trying to locate all the caves and pit in the Franklin Basin area. I am looking for pits (sink hole with no bottom) or caves that are not known. I find most of them on my sled and we are allways riding and looking for a new drop. If you see one send me a private message with gps cords. I will drop it and let you know what we find. I am allway worried about sleds falling into the pits and if we know where theyare, we can keep a eye on them. I also would love info on pits and cavers other places. Thanks!!!! Be carefull ride hard!!!!

you should change your name to spelunker!!! Sounds good, once i get my GPS i will mark them and send them to you!

You might try the Forest Service office in Logan and see if they have info on them.

I would get on the NSS website and see if there are any local caving clubs or grottos in your area and see if they could help you out. The caving community is somewhat cautious in disclosing the location of known caves and karst areas because of the direspect people have for such a fragile environment. It's not that they are selfish they just want people to be educated about caves before hand.
