cat semi synthetic oil

dealer now recommends cat semi sythetic oil, instead of full sythetic, says arctic cat claims it is better, smokes less, and better for the engine , but it sells for the same price full sythetic did last year? $45.00 for 3.78 litres, anyone have any thoughts on this??

My .02, you can probably run better aftermarket oils for less money.
