cat secondary clutch

I was "told" (so don't quote me on this) that you need a 49 degree helix and a green sno-pro spring, and possibly a different spring the in the primary. I've been wanting to do this, but laziness gets the best of me... Let us know what combination works well for you.

Cat Red/White spring, 49 or 51, maybe a 53 if you are pretty light. Probably going to have to drop at least 2 grams of weight off the primary. I ran one on my RMK 800. Let me know if you need any more info, I was piped and ported.

Bringing this thread back from the dead...

I was wondering how the cat 47 degree helix would work on a 700 with almond spring and 56 gram weights in primary?

Would yellow spring be ok to run in cat roller and if so what hole?

Yellow is okay, but it is pretty soft. I would run it tight or next to tight. Red/White would be better. Never tried a 47, 49 or 51 work pretty good.
