Cat oil?

I know this has been talked about a lot but just wanted to check. I bought my friends pro from him and I currently have a m1000. I have 2 gallons of full synthetic arctic cat oil and would like to keep them both the same. Pro has ves gold in it. I'm assuming I can run the cat oil without any issues but thought I would check. Hear polaris and cat have the same company make there oil. Not sure if it's true but does that mean I can mix it or should I drain the pro out. Thanks

The whole concept of not mixing oils stems from "additive clash" which I feel is overblown and not relevant any more.

I would mix the two. However, if u are really concerned just mix both oils in a separate container and see if anything unusual occurs such as precipitates forming, clumping, or even separation.

I mixed mystic jt4 with Ves with no problems.

I just went ahead and mixed it. I read enough and it seems the general consensus is that quality oil is similar across the board just with a bunch of different names. Thanks for your reply.
