cat gold primary spring

anyone have one laying on the bench?
i want to try one in my wife's 06 m7 and i have
two in my hand.i think one is a Polaris one or something
but one is 3 3/4 L. and the other is just under 4 1/4.
need to know which one is correct.

i have a poo gold spring but its for my old TXL, and its shorter than cat springs i have seen. Why would a 340 and a 800 take the same spring?
