With 72g weights in primary sled pulls much better now but engagement rpms are still a bit high. Running yellow/white spring 122/285 in primary and orange in secondary at 3-6k ft everything else stock. If i remember correct a lower spring rate at 2.5in will lower engagement and a similar rate at 1.3in should keep top rpms same. Should also add I want to try glide washers on one side of primary spring (which adds ~200 engagement rpms) as mine looks like it binds constantly. So with a net result of lowering engagement a couple hundred was going to try cat gold 75/275 with a glide washer? Also looked at SLP 120/300 black silver and cat yellow/green 114/267 but first rate on SLP seems to high and finish rate on cat yellow/green seems to low....

How much of a drop will i see going from 122/285 to 75/275?

Thanks!

I'm using the cat gold in my M7. Before with the yellow/white it was hitting hard at around 4700. I put the gold in with a spacer kit and now its nice and smooth around 3600. Top end stayed similar to before.

In my 2010 Im using polaris spring 95-320 and 68s turns 8250 engagement at 4000

In my '10 I'm running an AC gold with a .250" spacer. Engages at 3600 and pulls close to 8300 in a long climb. Am thinking about taking some shim out of it to lower top rpm. I just put in a shift assist and removed one of the plastic spacers at the top side of the secondary spring, will see how that works.

SLP & Polaris springs are measured at different distances than AC. Something to consider when comparing numbers.
