Stock engine besides PSI dial-a-dome head, was rebuilt in Feb 2006 at 3500 miles, put on at most 800 miles since then. Pistons replaced due to cracking of skirts and counter balancer bearings replaced as percaution.

Engine came out of my personal mountian sled(99 144"), which was of course running strong when retired. Replaced by King Kat.

Have everthing to go with if desired, including d&d pipes, v3's, d&d can, etc....

Lou, if your sleds is a triple now it will drop right in. Heads are set at stock levels(~140psi), i crank them up when i go out west to compensate for the elevation. You can crank them up all the way and get more HP, but you'll need timing and octane to cover the compression increase.

lou, dropping this engine isn't bad on your sled. A special engine mount(i believe CR Racing makes them) and pipes are all it takes.

1500 bucks is what i want out of it. Stock chaincase will be fine, will need different internals though...

engine is in great shape and the recoil/pump assembly is removed in the pics but obviously included. - chris

 

[2000TCMC]

Stock T-cat motor plate will fit in the 01 MC chassis that motor came stock in the chassis. Hood won't fit over the pipes though. you can change the plastics and hood to a T-cat set up and it will work same chassis/bulkhead combo. This motor with D&D pipes will make an honest 185-190HP All day everyday. The heads may be a little more efficient so you may see more than that but it will pull real hard. You would want to go to a 15 wide gears & chain still fits in the stock case. If you do the work let me know I can help with jetting / clutching that flat works on this motor.

I half considered buying it for a spare to the one I have for that price.

Come one, i know someone is looking for a good triple!! Had a guy ask about the flywheel area...
The case that holds the recoil on was taken off to remove the water pump to visually inspect the counter balance bearing on the end that likes to go bad. Everything is included assembled, just not pictured. - Chris
