Castlegar??? Any suggestions??

Wanting to Ride around the Castlegar area this weekend. The big problem is we need help finding somewhere to go. I dont expect anyone to give their secret honey holes, but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Wanting to get off the trail and find some steep and deep.

The best spot is to take off from Vulcan mountain. From there head up past hurricane hill. Just over that in Doran ditch is some of the best riding in the country!! Hope that helps.

Theres lots of steep my friend, somewhat lacking in the deep tho, not gonna lie!

Watch out for the "steep and deep" dude, still some sugar snow at the bottom that could break off and let loose a huge avy. Overall conditions are moderate but be careful, this is one of them years that its been better to not combine the two. No deep to be had anywhere, expect some good hardpacked snow with the warmer weather. I would think Bombi might be alright, at least it'll have some sunshine.
