Breast Cancer Foundation Fundraiser

The first annual benefit, Carve for the Curves©, is brought to you by Kristy Martin. The benefit will support Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Aspen in its mission to end breast cancer forever. The fundraiser will take place at Electric Mountain Lodge on March 7, 2009. With the minimum donation of $25.00 per person, you will receive lunch and be entered into the door prize drawing (must be present to win). Lunch will be buffet style (including coffee or iced tea), and will be served once we arrive at the lodge which should be around noon. It is not necessary to attend to donate, please contact me at the following:
Please RSVP by March 1, 2009, for the lunch buffet. The regular menu will still be available, I will pay the portion of your order of what the buffet will cost. So even if you did not RSVP please join us!!!

Do I just take the exit off of I-70 and head up towards Powderhorn is is there another way?
 
Make sure that you provide proof of your donation. (You know, the witch hunt thing for childrens hospital.) I would be in for a ride, if not just a donation. Save the Ta Ta's

I know that you are kidding Zachcreek, but I want to re-assure everyone that I have no problem with showing receipts once the fundraiser is done, as I was contacted by them, and have all the forms already submitted. As a matter of fact some of the board members will be joining us at EML!! I will also check to see if individual donations can be made direct to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, for the "Carve for the Curves" fundraiser if anyone is questioning the donation process.

I have maps of the trail heads and such if you are interested, please pm me your email and I will get them over to you. Thank you all for your interest!!! Next year we will have the dates way in advance.
 
Thanks for all the interest in making the event and donations!! I have pricing through the local (Carbondale) Days Inn of $90.00 a night (standard room) which is a corporate rate, if you call Debbie is the one that gave us the price 970-963-9111.
 
can you ride if you only have moobs?

i am told that men can get this thing too....i would offer to do some free screening or buddy checks if need be...ha...there has to be some humor in everything i say!

i could be up for it...not sure about schedule yet but sounds like fun.

nice work putting this together L2R....
