Carl's Clutch Kit, '13 Pro 800, What RPM?

I am consistently seeing 8250-8300 RPM(at 6-8000') on my '13 Pro(stock) with Carl's clutching while climbing. They say this is ideal, I thought this motor made peak horsepower and torque at 8050-8100?

If I were to jump from 62g to the 64g belly buster weight, how much would it drop the RPM?

With the carl's set up an slp single and a 3" track I am seeing 8150-8250 at 8-10,000ft....on the trail around 7-8,000 I'm reving to about 8400...Carl's said I wanted to be around 8250 what ever they did it rips

i get what your saying about peak perfomance rpm but carls is the one to ask they have countless hours dialing their setup so they will know where their best results are(rpm range )
good luck

Hi,

What is the "carls" set up for the pros? Helox Angle, springs, weights etc that is in the kit?

Is the helix the same helix as in the "Kit" they offered for the dragons?

Carl's Kit RPM

When climbing the pipe is hotter than it would be than when screaming down the road. Pipe heat slides the power peak RPM up. If you want that sled to climb, it is right on the money.
