First season with the nitrous kit and trying to tune it. First pass up the hill with the boondocker box set at 37, I tapped the button for a 2 second burst and watch the egt drop to around 900. Felt like I lost 40 hp. Next ride, I set the box at 44 and the engine resonded well enough to climb a hill I coundn't w/o the nitrous. Trying to understand what was going on. Did the DET sensor pull timing on the first run? I'm running a blend of about 40% c16 and 60% 91. Just wondering if the DET sensor works that way. thanks

you could have had air in the lines so when you hit the button it only added fuel and no nitrous

Sounds reasonable. Is that something I have to go through everytime or is there a good way to purge the system.
