Carbon or Aluinum Probe??

Looking at buying a probe, know I need I want a quick draw 300 not sure on aluminum or carbon.

Make sure it is large diameter aluminum tubing if you go aluminum. I like 260cm or longer. Also like the self tensioning probes. Advantage to carbon fiber is that it is lighter, also is flexible and less likely to bend. Hope this helps. Mike Duffy

Seems like aluminum would be better for probing. But the carbon fiber might not break or bend in my pack as easy.
