Carbon Fiber Susp Springs

Good bye to the pogo-stick shocks and / or shocks with steel springs!

These likely will be on par with Titanium springs cost wis,e but at a much lesser weight penalty.

Awesomely Cool!

The only problem I see with it is when you get snow and ice packed between those discs your suspension will get hard and it will limit your suspension travel. May not be feasable to use with snow.... I also see issues with rocks, dirt and mud.....

A simple ballistic nylon cover will fix that if it becomes an issue. IMO

Just like a lot of the companies recommend / provide for their shocks / suspensions to keep that from occurring. The first to come to mind is EZ-Ryde.

As they are essentially ultra light weight Belleville Washers, There should be no limit to suspension travel and the tune-ability.

You should be able to get a straight or a progressive spring rate all with the same washers and how you stack them. The huge plus I foresee is rather than having to buy a completely new set for a rate change you can just swap the configuration a little to stiffen or soften it up. That will be a huge advantage to those of us that have dabbled with Titanium springs and have thousands of dollars of the wrong rates on the shelf. You may still need to buy a dozen or so stiffer washers but you should not be out the whole stack for a small rate change.

Just My Random Thoughts

^^ So true, you can dial in the rate of each layer of the spring rate.

Kind of like how Z-broz does the triple rate with 3 stacked springs. but a HELL of a lot more adjustable.

Cool stuff, excited to see what becomes of them. Also, carbon disks should not be very expensive(relatively). again, not out of line compared to something like Ti Springs.

Get on it!

Allright c3!
Put these in production pronto!
Hit a decent price point and sell a pile of them.

I'll do product testing for free.
