I'm sure there are threads on this but for some reason my search won't work. One of the joints on my over structure has broke loose. Nothing actually broken just the adhesive let go. Is it worth replacing or have people been repairing this issue themselves? Thanks

I went through this last year. Dealer said Polaris was replacing some but I would have to wait a week to have a look at it. I am glad I just bought the epoxy from the local Body Shop Supply and fixed it myself. Was very easy and I have lots of glue left over. I also inserted an aluminum tube inside the carbon fibre for about 1.5" and put a rivet through for good measure. Better than new.

That sounds like a much better plan than buying a $500 replacement. If nothing else I think I would have just went with the steel for $250. Any chance you know what brand of epoxy it was that you used?

Warranty!! All the way. That is a manufacturing defect.

I agree with LP.

It is also a safety issue... so lean on your dealer a bit to get it covered.

To do the repair correctly...IMO... you have to have a compatible adhesive... and inject it into the the joint through the injection holes... after cleaning all the old adhesive from the joint.

Thanks! I will talk to my dealer. My warranty is up so we'll see. But I will likely give the glue a shot if nothing else.
