Carb tubing

Where do you buy carb tubing.

Just go to hardware store and buy tygon tubing?

Need to replace tubing on a Yamaha , Arctic Cat and Polaris.

I get it at the dealer. my local ace, which has mega stuff, only has vinyl in clear tubing. auto stores were no help either. I did not try napa.

I have no sled shops nearby. Maybe Home Depot or other hardware stores?

What is the correct size of tubing?

depends on what line and what carbs. you should be able to get it from the mail order guys. if you have a small engine shop or a napa it would be worth a shot. it can be a cycle shop, atv shop, weed wacker shop........someone will have it.

Hi I just replaced my carb tubing with tygon. A friend of mine owns a lawnmower and small engine repair shop. He says tygon will not shrink and harden like oem tubing. Try local small engine shops.

What size tubing? 1/4 or 3/32 ID ?

this is the stuff you want to use period! best stuff out there. the clear will harden and shrink in a year. the blue colored fuel line is better but this tygon is the shizz used to replace the tiny line on my weed whacker every year tygon still soft after 5 yrs.

Be careful of the stuff at ace & homedepot. Not all of it reacts well with petrolium products.

I have used Aircraft Spruce polyurethane but they also carry Tygon and Bing alcohol resistant

PS If you call them they will send you a catalog. I buy lots of stuff from them for building my mods. Aluminum tube, flat, and chrome moly tube and flat plus just tons of stuff for fabbing, 700 page catalog.

I made my tunnel extension for my TNT with their products except for the bumper
