Carb Removal and cleaning videos

Does anybody know were i can find some good basic maintenence videos that include carb removal and cleaning and also possibly chaincase removal and lube change. It would be nice if it was simular to an 07 summit 800r. Thanks in advance.

Ebay.

get the ski doo maintenance manual for 2007 on CD. Gives you everything you need to know to get your hands dirty. Get the racing handbook if you really want to learn the physics behind clutching, suspension, and how your rave valves work the powerband.

Not much too either task, not sure why you'd need a video? Maybe stop by a shop and take a peak at one being serviced. Repair manuals best resource as you'll have all the specs you need.

  1. Remove secondary clutch (1 bolt)
  2. Unplug airbox sensor on top
  3. Loosen "hose clamps" with phillips head screw driver that holds the big rubber ring of the airbox to the carbs (one clamp per carb); Mag side clamp is a little bit of a reach to get to, I own a long phillips for just this reason
  4. Jiggle / slide back off carbs and then gently out
  5. Sometimes well chosen and selected 4 letter words can be of help (optional; but I never skip this step, can be inserted in between any or all of the above steps)

I was having the same issue, can't get the screw driver in without taking the clutch off. How can you do it without removing secondary? A bit more detail would help. Also, I am used to single carb dirtbikes any issues with having to readjust the carbs after cleaning them on the REV 800 H.O?
