Can anyone tell me on a 06 900 is the plug on right side of the carb able to be unpluged? It has screws under the plug and the screws have a white line of paint threw the screw. The rubber boots behind have cracks and need replaced trying to get off. Also there is alot of oil down there would that be the hose coming threw the motor maybe leaking. thought I read some thing about some hose leaking and should be replaced? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check your exhaust gaskets. Mine were leaking and there is oil all over below the intakes from it.

They where leaking i think becouse one bottom bolt was missing. Then i noticed the cracked boots. Trying to get the carbs off to get to the bottom bolts on the boots now but what a pain in the hinder. Also got the clutch off last year and went threw it so its the season now i cant get it off! I dont want to beat it but think Iam at that option.

How to remove your throttle bodies

When in doubt look through the sticky threads at the top of the 900 forum.
This was in "HOW TO" links for the 900's

As far as the clutch goes, put the sled on it's side, put some grase/lubricant in the hole for the bolt and teflon tape the threads on the clutch removal tool. Crank it down and pop the end with a hammer and it should come right off. Its hydraulic physiscs versus getting pissed at it and letting go with a hammer on it!!!

The throttle body should come off as an assembly. Don't take it apart just undo the cables, lines and clamps. Then you will be able to get the boots off.

Left the trottle body hooked up and shinnied the boot and reeds out. Thanks on the treads guys anyone got any parts they want to get rid of like better reeds or boots. By the way can i only get those from polaris? Which reeds are better for the $ V force or Boyesen.
