CARB OR EFI? 2003 1M800

I WANT TO MAKE SOME MORE HP ON MY 2003 1M800. I WANT TO PUT A PIPE ON IT. HAS A SLP CAN ON IT NOW AND SOME CLUTCH WORK. HAS ANYONE EVER PUT CARBS ON A EFI MODEL 2003 1M800 OR WOULD IT BE ALOT LESS HASSLE TO USE A FUEL CONTROLLER? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT AND THANKS AHEAD OF TIME...
 
Doing an EFI to carb swap is possible, but not easy or cheap. Much simpler to use a fuel controller.

The cranks and crankcases are different and all the electrical is different. Theoretically you could just unhook the fuel injectors and leave them hanging, use carbs with the EFI ignition to run the timing, but I have never done this. I saw a guy do it on an M1000.
