Carb help on a 99 summit

I was just wondering if you still need to change jets with that dpm thing. What is dpm? How does it work?

Don't change anything unless the temp drops below zero degrees f.

what are the factory carb settings for the 1999 summit 670? I have one in my shop that I just got running for a guy but it runs real crappy. Idle is very high and by the time i crank it down to where it is acceptable it bogs real bad. midrange up seems fine. Throttle is closing all the way. there is just the little brass svrew on the side which i don't know where to set it to start from.

Any help would be much appreciated.
