Carb changes

Hi. I have just replaced the motor in my 2006 XC 500 with a 600 motor out of a 2004 XC 600. I only have the carbs (Mikuni TM 38) from the 500. What changes should I make to carbs to use with the 600 engine. Thanks.

Pilot jets are the same on both(45) Needles are the same on both J8-9DFH06-57
Starter jet on the 500 is a 145, the 600 is a 140. Slider cutaway on the 500 is 1.5 and the 600 is 2.5 (leaner) Mains are 3 steps richer on the 600. I would run the 500 sliders and see how it runs. They are pricey you may be able to go to a 50 pilot and it will run. Try the 45s and if you have to run the air screw into less than 1 turn to get it to idle then go to the 50 pilot.
