car restoration, original bill of sale questions

So i am starting my restoration of a car I have had for 20 years, 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T all original, 72k miles numbers matching, etc. This is a 440 bigblock car and was apparently an ordered car since it has no a/c, no P/S, etc, alot of deleted options. But is has the 440, A/T, power disc brakes (original), 8 and 3/4 sure grip rear diff with 3.91 gears and the 150 mph speedo.

I found the build sheet, or what was left of it, it was chewed up by mice and was un-readable

SO I am trying to locate the dealer the car was purchased from, I know it was in MN but am not sure which one. How would I go about this. Will the DMV give me this info? Chrysler?

I would like to get the build sheet, copy of the bill of sale and the window stick or duplicate if possible.

I will NOT go to Galen Govier as has is a rip off and a joke. Been down that road already.

This car is getting a rotissere resto and complete build so i would like to get it close to perfect

Thanks for your help

Hey thanks!!!!

That Dart your buddy restored was beautiful. I bought a rotisserie and will be starting soon on this car. I also have a 1967 chevelle malibu to start on as well, just gathering parts right now, i was able to get ahold of a 1969 427/435 hp so that will be going into the chevelle, but am doing a 5 or 6 spd TKO conversion

Should be a fun car as well, no originality on that one as it is a 283 2 barrel car

I can save you a lot of coin! :)

How about a 1969 Nova with a 1100 hp 565 big block? Running a Jerrico 4spd, backhalf... all the goodies. It's all natural power, no turbo/blower or NITROUS!! Ran a best of 8.92@153 in Cordova Ill.

$40k turn key! :)

My dad bough a 56 chev stepside and he just referenced the VIN through the dmv to get all the dealer info he needed. Unfortunately the dealer had been gone for years so that may prove a problem.. your best bet may be through chrysler as they may have the file or even be able to reproduce replica info for you.. not too sure tho.. good luck with the resto:beer;

yammer,

Sounds like a hell of a rig. The chevelle I am building as a nice street car, nothing too crazy, of course a man cannot have enough horsepower!!!!
