Cant ride my pro like i would want

Hi!
I have a rmk assault,
I love my sled, it has a great engine,
great suspension, etc.

BUT,
Im not even able to do some complete donut.
Its okay to put it on his side, but will not stay there.
I never had any problem with the sled i tried before.
Even a summit rev was easier.

Anything to do?
How i could adjust my suspension?
For me, its not the ''most flickable sled'' :(

1) narrow up your ski stance.....unbolt them and move the spacers arround accordingly

2) Try softening your springs and shock settings

3) drink and eat too much....put on some weight.....works for me

Im 210 without gear,
go to gym 4x per week. Weight dont seem to be the problem :P

I've done millions of donuts with sleds Wedges, Edges, and Dragons. The easiest sled to do donuts on is the Dragon, they have a nice side pan for it to lays on when your on your side doing them donuts. This new Pro RMK 163 of mine does donuts but it doesn't have a great side pan so it's a little harder to do. If you lose momentem the sled usually flips upside down, then is a bi*** to get back on it's skis. This never happens on a dragon. Makes me look like i"m just a beginner. No smart remarks needed.

check all the suspension settings..they really affect how the sled handles..owners manual has the specs on the settings...then play with it from there...

Unhook one side of the sway bar soften front shocks, and tighten front track shock.
My my 09 with float 2 shocks on the front with sway bar pulls over easier.
I realy think the front shock are valved wrong.

She just needs a little weight transfer. Tighten the front track shock so the skis pop up eaiser, and listen the rear a tad. You'll have to play with it but the more transfer you give it the eaiser it's gonna be

Never had a problem with getting it to stay on it's side. Counter steering a little more might help your situation.

My only problem is about 2/3rds the way through the 3rd loop I loose steam sometimes and just tip over. Feels like I was "Cow tipped". Never riden an Assault though so maybe they are set up differently.

Don't do anything in setup just to do a doughnut. Keep your mountain setup and just learn to do it. Just keep putting it on it's side until you get it. You aren't likely to hurt the sled if it falls over in the snow. Back off the power. I can do it at a couple miles an hour on balance only. The more power, the more kick back and violent it feels. Don't be lazy! You have to find the balance point and work it.

it all has to do with your suspension setup... i have an assault too only weigh 150 and can do doughnuts all day long .. when i first got it with the factory shock setup it handled like crap for my weight and couldnt manuver it very well.. losened the rear and the front track shock and it handels like a dream now..never would have guessed that such minor adjustment would make such a diffrence

What he said. Buddy has one. Good rider. Found this really makes the Assault, unless sky-diving is your only goal.

how about a little more info if you don't mind, snow conditions and how many turns on each of the shocks and on the clickers, track front and rear shocks and ski shocks, and how does your setup affect other forms of riding such as ski lift, climbing, jumping stability etc.
i have the same sled and would like to hear what others have done to improve the sled

thanks
