cant get more than 7600 rpm's

06 m7 v force reeds and a can yellow and white spring and i cant get more than 7650 rpms at 2500' sled seems to run ok other than that oh and it has 65g weights any ideas on what it could be im leaving thursday out west.

ive been haveing the same problem for a year with the same sled at 6000-9000' and havent got it all figured out yet the closest i got was 7760-7780rpm by changing to a team conversion with there blk/white spring, im begining to wonder if my fuel pressure is to high?? might be something to have looked at? i also have two other guys i ride with that had the same prob. and put on a speedwerx single and they say problem solved.

check your powervalve cable settings and check you secondary spring adjustment , it should be .5 " from the outside face of the end cap to the plastic spring retainer

get a ruler and measure from the outside face of the helix cap to the plastic spring cup

you can do this with out takign the belt or gaurd off , just have to take off the side panel

as far as adjusting it ,, you can take the secondary apart and just spin it in or out by hand , or you can get a bdx tool , or a similiar spanner / pin type wrench and do it while assembled
