Cannot get 7S to show TOPO lines to save my life!

I have a 2024 RMK with the 7S, and for the life of me I cannot get the maps to show TOPO details.

YES I have the topo option selected.

It will show hill grading no problem

I have downloaded and uploaded the most latest map update(massive file and lengthy process)

I have yet to email customer support but honestly just thought of doing this while reading old posts.

Anybody have any insights? Annoying as all hell.

Have you tried zooming in/out? Are you in a flat location? I only ride in the mountains, and if I recall the topo lines and shading only show up at certain zoom levels.......can take a while to load sometimes too.

You are correct on the location, no difference on zoom levels

Well for anyone that maybe finds this in the future, I got it to work.

Polaris doesn’t share any release notes or file names when it comes to the base map file online, so I had assumed when I downloaded the massive base map file in February, it was gonna be the most recent file.

I decided to go through the pain again of downloading, transferring to a usb stick and then uploading to the 7S, the base map file again to double check(about a 3hr round trip) and whaddya know, the file was and updated version of what I had done in February.

TOPO lines showing now!

Actually, I went out to my sled and flipped it to the white screen and look at that I have topo lines now

I always run it in the dark screen, and I’m never really super concerned with top lines because we pretty much rode in the same zones and stuff so I know the terrain but you can’t really see the topo lines on the dark screen but when I switched it to the white one, it’s clear as day.

Even though Canada uses the metric system, we still measure everything in freedom units, I still have to do the mental math to convert Meters to feet at a glance, no idea what elevation 1500m is in my head!
