Get the PVR. I didn't think I'd use it either but it is almost constantly full with the kids and my wifes stuff...![]()
I would go with star choice just for the simple fact you can run multiple locations on the same monthly plan, so you could have a cabin, house, RV etc. all on that $59.99 which will all work at the same time, so if the wife is home, and your at the cabin you can both watch satellite, where with bell (at least it used to anyways) you could still have recievers in multiple locations, but you could only watch it from one location at a time. We actually used to split the plan between my family for a while before they caught on, parents, brother, and myself all shared a plan, but it made buying PPV **** kinda akward
Another nice thing is alot of star choice HD programming is free with the basic package, and from my understanding they are a Canadian owned company.
Oh and another vote for the PVR, I don't know how I could do without one anymore once you get one.
no problem with bell anymore either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! have it in multiple locations being used at the same time!!!!!!I would go with star choice just for the simple fact you can run multiple locations on the same monthly plan, so you could have a cabin, house, RV etc. all on that $59.99 which will all work at the same time, so if the wife is home, and your at the cabin you can both watch satellite, where with bell (at least it used to anyways) you could still have recievers in multiple locations, but you could only watch it from one location at a time. It's not "opened up"....you can do it if you don't say anything. As for receiving it in the US....not sure. I know Dishnet spot beams....so I would assume Bell (same satellites, same equipment, same decryption) probably spotbeams as well. We have 4 receivers in the house and just throw one in the motorhouse when we head out. (Haven't been south of Coeur d'Alene with the motorhome though)
I agree with Beels. Get the PVR. I didn't think I'd use it either but it is almost constantly full with the kids and my wifes stuff...![]()
