Just wondering about northern US dealers willing to deal with a canadian looking for a new Nytro? I read about some prices guys are paying in the US and wouldnt mind attaching to that savings. I might be dreaming but i thought id give it a shot. LOL
You might be able to find a dealer, but from what I understand they basically have their hands tied when it comes to selling across the boarder. They run the risk of the manufacturer pulling the plug if they are caught.
Ya i kinda figured that might be the case...Frustrating that the exchange rate is par and americans can buy a sled for 3 grand cheaper than us canucks...Lifes a Beetch LOL. Thanks for the reply.
It wouldn't hurt to check with a few dealers, you never know...one might bite. I feel bad for you guys, one would think that from year to year they could adjust the prices to better match the value of the Loony to the Dollar.
You Bet!! Ill make a few calls to some montana dealers and see what they say...perhaps a good used 2011 american sled would be a better option to attach to some savings.
they all or most will deal with you you just have to go get it & do the paperwork to get it across the border.if you need warrenty work though you will have to bring it back to the usa for it,canadian dealer wont touch it.
Thanks Vector...Im kinda hoping that the savings dealing in the US is more that enough to offset the cost of repairs...Especially on a new sled...Yammy riders rave about dependablility and i will soon be one of those riders haha. Would love to snow check a US sled with the $1500 turbo option if offered again....These sled companies gotta start painting all of North America with the same brush...No Turbo/super charger option on Canadian Sleds...Lame!!!!
i live in Toronto, I bought my sled and also a new grizzly from a dealer in North Tonawanda, Bob Weaver Powersports. I made the deal and then just picked my toys up. All you have to do is minor paperwork and an inspection. On both machines I saved around $6K.
