i have watched all my friends try to ride a similar contraption for money at a trade show and none of them could make it more then a couple of feet. I was unemployed at the time and did not have any money to waste and knew better then to try. it was a dollar a try for possibly winning a $20 or something like that. they were all avid cyclist as well. To pick it up that quick is just impossible. Whats make is so tough is a bike is really unstable at slow speed so you move the handle bars quickly back and forth to keep your balance. All that does on a bike like this is makes it worse

Just counter steer.

We built one years ago that steered the rear tire. Really made you think because it also had to be steered opposite. Once a guy figured it out it was fun to ride
