Can somebody get my ecu flashed by a factory backed polaris race team? SLP wont do it

So i have the slp race twins on my 700 and they work great, talking with the guys at slp he said i would benifit by haveing the ecu that came with the pipes, but when i asked him how much he said he cant that i would have to get the ecu from a factory polaris race team sounds kinda BS to me but figured i would try.

Can someone help me?

Sounds screwy to me, you should be able to use your controler to tune it. Why do they say you can't tune it with your current map and controler? Check with Carl's Cycle. Jack builds his own map for his big bore apps. He may have some insight to a way to cure your issues.

Its not so much a tuneing issue its the rev limiter and timeing differences

already tried they said to call slp since they made the pipes, these pipes were not availible to the public racers only because of not much demand iam guessing

Have you tried contacting Polaris Racing directly? First, that flash is probably something the factory race team created, so it's isn't SLP's to sell. Second, bear in mind that Polaris has to be cautious about offering reflashes that aren't "emissions compliant" to non-racers. I would think you could get the ECU flashed by the race dept, as long as you really are a racer (hint).

i talked to somebody else at slp and they said they can do it now i dont know what is up with this company?

This is a direct line to Brad at the Polaris race department. Call him and tell him what you want to do, you will have to send him the ECU plus the money to do it but he will hook you up. I cant belive SLP didnt point you in the right direction.

We have certain obligations and restrictions when it comes to this stuff....If we don't follow those rules, we loose our privileges. In some cases, we don't even have the map, or the rights to it so it's not even an option.

Who was it......We have a new salesman who is learning the ropes and may have miss understood. I am the race coordinator which means this type of stuff goes through me.....I have been in NEW York for two weeks so it didn't go through me. I apologize for the inconsistancy.....publicly degrading our company because you didn't get what you want is not helping your cause.
