Ok guys, here is another question for ya. Im wanting to put a can on my O6 summit 600HO SDI. There is a sensor that comes off the stock exhaust, is this a exhaust temp sensor or something and if this is on it does the can come with an outlet for this? Can it be disconnected without hurting anything? I looked in my book and cant find anything about it so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

gsled......if i have an 07 800R, would you also suggest just going with the clutching or will my sled get some gain out of a pipe and can?

Sorry for the slow response, working alot. About the clutching go with Dynamo Joe, you just can't beat his support and when your done your sled will smoke a XP.

Ya, I always clutch first. Cans are just a wast of $$, Bikeman claims to have a pipe that works with stock porting but I havent run it. Everyone else says the stock pipe and can are hard to beat. My sled pulls so hard with clutching and gearing it's shocking.

It's a temperature sensor and any can designed for your sled will have a bung for the sensor....it does need to be used, it gives feedback for for air/fuel. Don't expect noticable power gains but it's a good way to drop weight.

Thanks for the info, what are your sugestions for clutching?

I have a pretty decent kit for that 6 hunnid.
Look here at your year to find out the 4 parts.
A solid 3mph track speed increase, hold track speed longer, crisp backshift when hot - that can sum up my kit vs stock in one sentence.
