I think Chris has us all in mind... Maybe the best way he could do that though we be to talok to the people rather than just start changing crap cuz he thin ks it's for the better. I've *****ed more than anything lately. Chris we all know you read these so how about a response. Or polls or talk to the members. It was said in another thread that all of these changes were to make it better for us. That doesn't appear to be the case. Then it was said it's being done so we can get more people here. Using common marketing strategies, I would rather have 3,000 people that will spend $1000 each instead of 10,000 people spending a dollar each, when you have the choice quality is much better than quantity, if you want to hang with a big group of sledders LOL, go to amsnow. Plus fewer quality people require fewer computer servers and services.

Thank you for bringing up the quality over quantity idea. So true. From an advertisers perspective there are "other" forums with TONS of members, but the quality is poor and equally so is the ROI on an ad. Snowest on the other hand far surpasses all other forums combined when it comes to return. Why would they want to change that????

More importantly what I don't understand, is why not ask (and then listen!) to what the current user base wants? One guy speaking for 20,000 isn't the way to go. Take input and use it. Don't force change when people don't want it...

The changes here are like taking your truck into the dealership becasue your right signal light quit working and you roll out a day later with 4 brand new tires, an oil change, a brake inspection, a 5 page report on what's wrong and your right signal light still doesn't work.
